Case Study: Peninsula Golf Club

Architect Chris Pitman

Peninsula Golf Club is a well established 18 hole golf course which features park-like fairways and is centred by an eye-catching series of lakes and ponds. The undulating course has spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and many colourful residential gardens. Parkland spent many years successfully upgrading their irrigation system in sections so that all 18 holes remained open.

  • Irrigation system for the course and surrounding landscape was designed by Parkland’s engineers
  • Sectional irrigation system upgrade over a number of years
  • Operated by Toro Trident central decoder control system
  • During the installation the Club always kept 18 holes of golf open by constructing high quality, temporary greens and tees
