Toro Precision™ Series Rotating Nozzle

Toro® Precision™ Series Rotating Nozzles deliver 10 times the torgue of its competitors, resulting in superior debris resistance, faster and more consistant rotation speed, and robust watering streams over a wide variety of operating pressures.  This nozzle overcomes problems of slowing rotation to the point of stall in low pressures observed on competitive units.  The 0.55'/hr precipitation rate balances the need for slowly laying down the water with the need to do so within a specified water window.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS.

• The Precision™ Rotating Nozzle is gear-driven, utilizing a planetary gear drive to rotate the nozzle.  The entire gear package is contained in the area beneath the nozzle screen.  The gear box is inverted with the turbine at the top position offering the best drive mechanics available.
• Consistent Speed of Rotation means that the Precision™ Rotating Nozzle is not dependent on system pressure to impact the bottom of the nozzle and push it forward.  The gear drive mechanism delivers a consistent speed of rotation regardless of system pressure and prevents product stalling at very low pressures.
• The gear drive developes an output power that is 10 times stronger than the output torgue of competitive units.  This ensures positive rotation with no slowing caused by enfvironmental factors such as grass blades or small pebbles bushing up against the nozzle.
• The Precision™ Rotating Nozzle Series can be radius reduced by up to 25%.  This will also proportionally reduce the flow rate so that the precipitaion rate is maintained for all nozzles on the same line.  The installer can tirangulate from either 20' or 24' to the desired radius without worrying about installing another valve to service the shorter throw nozzles.   It's all automatic.
